Have you ever come on anything quite like this extravagant generosity of
God, this deep, deep wisdom? It's way over our heads. We'll never figure it
out. 34 Is there anyone around who
can explain God?
Psalms 8:4 (TEV) what are
human beings, that you think of them; mere mortals, that you care for them?
I. What Make You Special:
a. God designed you IN HIS IMAGE
Psalms 8:5 (TEV) Yet You made
them [humans] inferior only to Yourself; You crowned them with glory and honor.
b. God planned your life BEFORE YOU WERE BORN
Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV) "Before
I formed you in the womb I knew you"
c. God made you FOR HIS PLEASURE
Revelation 4:11 (NLT) For You
created everything, and it is for Your pleasure that they exist and were
created."
II. The Original Valentine:
Hebrews 9:22 (NIV) In fact, the
law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the
shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
